Since the initial arrival of Operators to the Call of Duty franchise, the developers behind Activision's shooter franchise have released a huge variety of skins for players to unlock and purchase. No matter whether you're kitting up in Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone, there's something for everyone.

With all eyes on what Season 5 has in store, an instant dropshot mechanic has been proving popular, while some fans of the battle royale have been frustrated with an apparent increase in hackers, despite a recent wave of bans.

Ahead of the latest seasonal update, players are discussing the impeding release of some brand-new Operator skins. Aside from Nicki Minaj, many are happy with the new season's collection of skins for their favourite characters.

Call of Duty Season 5 Operator skins are "great"

In a post that showcases the new cosmetics coming to the game, Reddit user Dr-boombatz gave the Season 5 skins their seal of approval.

Season 5 sees the arrival of four Operators, in the form of Graves, Oz, Mila, and Velikan. Judging by the comments, there are plenty of other players looking to get their hands on these skins, such as one, who declared: "I really like the new Alejandro skin, can't wait to get it."

Another player added: "I'm loving this mil-spec vibe." Alongside the skins that fit with the aesthetic of the Modern Warfare series, Season 5 also includes Operators based on rappers 21 Savage and Snoop Dogg, as part of the series' latest celebrity collaboration.

In addition to some Operator skins featuring as part of the Season 5 battle pass, others are available to purchase from the in-game store.

The arrival of Operator skins resembling the setting of the current cycle seems to coincide with Activision confirming that all of the cosmetics from Modern Warfare 2 will transfer over to Modern Warfare 3.

Whether it's a coincidence or not, players are looking forward to getting their hands on skins for members of Task Force 141 and Shadow Company.
