Larian Studios has shed some light on what will be needed regarding the operating system, graphics, and storage requirements for players to run the game. The game can be played on both Windows and Mac systems, so we have you covered regardless of PC preference.

It is good to bear in mind that, while Baldur's Gate 3 will run on a PC with the below specs, it will require some compromises in regard to the game's quality. Those using PCs with the below minimum requirements will find the most heavily affected areas are visual, with graphics being the first noticeable setback.

  • Processor: Intel i5-4690 or AMD FX 8350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 480, either with 4GB+ of VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 150 GB available space

For Mac

  • OS: macOS 10.15.6
  • Processor: 2.6GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon460 4GB
  • Storage: 150 GB available space

While you may not have many issues with running Baldur's Gate 3 with the above minimum requirements, there are some additional recommendations to consider for both PC and its components.
